Oriented Coring

The NPC Oriented Coring service is designed to provide a core and data relating to the core that indicates its original orientation before it was removed from the reservoir. This allows formation dip, strike, directional permeability, principal stress and fracture alignment to be determined. A better understanding of the shape and properties at the reservoir structure is obtained. The NPC Oriented Coring service uses specialized coring equipment in conjunction with surviving equipment. A permanent reference mark is scribed ran the care and is referenced to the survey information obtained.
